Amar Singh Chahal is a former Indian police officer. He was inspector general of the Pubjab Police.[when?] He attempted suicide by shooting himself in Decenmber 2025 after reportedly losing money in an online scam.[1]
He was accused in the 2015 Kotkapura firing case[2]
