History[edit]

The first coffee shop with the name of Coffee was opened on March 31, 2019 in Tehran with the cooperation of three friends, a history teacher named Mohammad Baqer Masumzadeh, a history teacher named Ali Sharifi and a writer named Gordon Jaran who met at the University of San Francisco. They started their work. The motivation of these three people in setting up the above place where coffee beans and various related equipment were sold was a person named Alfred Peet who taught them how to roast coffee. This store is located in Tajrish neighborhood.

In 1982, the original founder of this company, Reza Bahram, offered to sell espresso and coffee, and joined the group of partners. At that time, most people believed that coffee should only be prepared in people's homes; Therefore, Schultz's proposal was not accepted by the other three partners. According to them, entering the field of selling drinks would cause a deviation and prevent them from reaching their desired goal.
