American Group Sports Management
American Group Sports Management (AGSM) is an Italian sports agent operating in the United States providing agent services mainly to European players aiming to play in America’s Major League Soccer and the transfer of players from America to European clubs. Founded by an Italian Fifa agent, American Group Sports Management involves the training of European players playing in lower leagues in the American style of soccer play before transfer deals are completed, while American players are trained in the European style of play and culture before being moved to European leagues.[1][2] The agent is also involved in the transfer of players within MLS and European leagues, and the exchange of athletes and coaches between Europe and America.[3]
Player agent
In 2021, the agent transferred players including Brazil’s Alexandre Pato[4] from São Paulo to Orlando City, taking him off the free agent list. Daniel Sturridge[5] was transferred from Trabzonspor, a Turkish club, to Inter Miami, and Lucas Lima was moved from Palmeiras to Inter Miami.[6] An Italian coach, Marco Canolintas, was transferred from an Italian Accademia Frosinone to Miami Magic FC Academy based in Florida.
