Amir Atif is an Egyptian writer and novelist, born in Cairo on October 10, 1984. He has authored several famous novels, including "Emergency," released in 2014. "Emergency" book rights have sold to convert into a movie, and the story "None of the above"[1] was published in January 2016. Also, the novel "Logarithm" 2017, and the book "Do not start killing" 2018. His novels achieved remarkable success and were among the best-selling libraries[2]and exhibitions inside and outside Egypt. [3][4]
He is currently participating in writing the script of a film. He has published articles for him in several magazines and newspapers, and his role in holding several seminars, a monthly cultural salon, and his participation in many cultural events.[5][6]
Earlier life[edit]
Amir Atif was born in Cairo on October 10, 1984. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Ain Shams University - Department of European Civilization, he studied Greek and Latin literature and has several critical articles on the works of ancient Greek writers.[7]
Amir began writing his first collection of short stories in 2005 with ten stories, but they are unfinished. Then he began writing his first novel in 2006 and was influenced by the works of symbols of literature and creativity in the Arab world, such as Naguib Mahfouz, Yusuf Idris, and others in 2010 succeeded in writing his first long novel.[8]

- “Emergency” by Dawn Publishing and Distribution was published in September 2014,[9] and in August 2015, it right sold to convert into a movie.
- “None of the above” was published in January 2016 by Dawn for Publishing and Distribution.[10][1]
- “Logarithm” by Dawn Publishing and Distribution in January 2017[3][11][12] was critically analyzed on the Reuters website.[13]
- “Do not Start the Killing” has published by Dawn Publishing and Distribution in January 2018.[14]
Contributions[edit]
He participated in the establishment of several seminars and a monthly cultural salon[15]. Amir also contributed to writing an opinion column for a newspaper [16]and participating in several cultural events and book fairs[17][18], along with participating in a literary project dealing with people's literature in the early centuries.[2]
