Anand Ahuja (born July 29, 1983) is an Indian businessman and entrepreneur.[1] He is the CEO and founder of the fashion line, Bhane.[2][3] He is also the founder of Veg Non Veg sneakers store in New Delhi[4] and the managing director of Shahi Exports, owned by his father, Harish Ahuja.[5]
Early life
Ahuja was born to Harish and Priya Ahuja in 1983. He has a younger brother, Anant Ahuja. His grandparents are late Shri Manghoo Fatehchand and Sarla M. Ahuja.[6] He studied at American Embassy School, going on to complete his post-graduation from Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Career
Ahuja launched his apparel manufacturing company Bhane in December 2012. [7][8] Followed by the launch of his Veg Non Veg, a multi-brand sneaker boutique in Delhi. [9][10] Besides that, he also manages his family business of Shahi Exports which reportedly has an annual turnover of Rs 3,000 crore.[11] After graduating from the university, he worked at Macy's, followed by his internship at Amazon.com for 10 years in America before moving back to Delhi to join his father, Harish Ahuja, in their business ventures,[12] which was first started by his grandmother Sarla M. Ahuja in 1974 under the name of Shahi Export House.[13]
Personal life
Ahuja is engaged to Indian actress Sonam Kapoor and is set to be married on May 8, 2018.[14]
