Ananda Marga School, Bishalgarh
Ananda Marga School (Bengali: আনন্দ মার্গ বিদ্যালয়, বিশালগড়) is an Indian private English medium school, located in Bishalgarh, Tripura. It was established in 1984.[1] It consists of Grades from Nursery to 12. It is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education.[2]
History
It was established in 1984 when Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar, the founder of Ananda Marga, was alive.
It is managed by the education department of Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha and a part of Ananda Marga Schools. Earlier it was affiliated to Tripura Board of Secondary Education and it got affiliation from the Central Board of Secondary Education on 23 December 2018.[2]
Academic performances
It is famous for its excellent results obtained by the students in the Board examinations, 10th and 12th respectively.[3]
Other activities
The school authority made a short film "Darpan" and released it on an online platform. The students and teachers of the school performed in it. That film was well received by the audience.
It is also known for its social activities like health camps, blood donation camps, free dress distribution to poor people, etc.[3][4]
