Anant Kunte
Anant Kunte (born 1930)[1] is an Indian sarangi player best known as an accompanist for vocalists.
Early life[edit]
Kunte was born in 1930 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. He learned sarangi from Amir Bakhsh, who belonged to the Jajar Gharana.[2]
Career[edit]
He has accompanied many vocalists of India such as Shruti Sadolikar,[3] Bhimsen Joshi, Gangubai Hangal, K. G. Ginde, Prabha Atre, Ram Marathe, S. C. R. Bhatt, Arjun Shejwal and Y.B. Joshi.[1]
