Anastasios Papapetrou (Greek: Αναστάσιος Παπαπέτρου; born 13 January 1985) is a Greek football referee who officiates in the Super League Greece. He has been a FIFA referee since 2016, and is ranked as a UEFA first category referee.[1]

Officiating career

Papapetrou represents the Athens Football Clubs Association (EPSA). He made his debut in the top-flight Super League Greece in 2014 and quickly established himself as one of the leading match officials in Greek football. In 2016, he was added to the FIFA International Referees List.[2]

Papapetrou was born and raised in Athens, Greece. Alongside his refereeing career under the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) and UEFA, he actively participates in physical preparation and tactical seminars for Greek referees.
