Anders Hansen, born 24 January 1974 in Stockholm, is a Swedish doctor, psychiatrist and author. He has written books about how the brain functions and has been a popular scientific TV-show host.
Hansen went through his doctors training at Karolinska Institutet and he has also got a Civilekonom from Stockholm School of Economics. He has written about medicinal research and biotechnology for among others British Medical Journal.
His first book ''health on recipe''[1], was written together with Carl Johan Sundberg, doctor and professor at Karolinska Institutet, and came out in 2014. His second book ”brainstrong”[2] is about how the brain gets affected by being physically active. It came out the summer of 2016 and has been sold in 500.000 copies in Sweden. His third book ''Advantage ADHD'' came out in the autumn of 2017. His latest book ''the screen brain: how a brain out of sync with its time can make us stressed, depressed and filled with anxiety'' came out in mars 2019.
