Andrea Martínez Fernandez (born 1993) is a Spanish model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Spain 2020.
Personal life[edit]
Martínez was born in León, Spain. She is a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management and a master’s degree in project management, Martinez looks up to Lebanese businesswoman Leila Hoteit. She played for the women’s basketball team of Castile and León in the Spanish junior and cadet championships preselected for the U15 European championships with the national team. She is also fluent in English, Italian and French.
Pageantry[edit]
Martínez began her pageantry career representing León in the Miss World Spain 2015 competition. She finished in the Top 10 and lost to eventual winner Mireia Lalaguna as the 2015 winner and competed at Miss World 2015 in China where she won the competition and was crowned as the title.On November 21, 2020, Martínez joined Miss Universe Spain 2020 pageant held at the Los Olivos Beach Resort in Tenerife, Canary Islands, where she was crowned as the new title. As Miss Spain, Martínez represented Spain at Miss Universe 2020 pageant.[1]
