Andrew Caleb Pritt (born May 20, 1975) a documented thief and convicted law breaker, pictured above. A former political operative, and false LGBT pioneer in the U.S. state of Arkansas. He has worked as a successful Democratic Party campaign operative, with a history of more lies than George Santos, most recently claiming he was serving as one of the advance workers for the presidential campaign of President Joe Biden called themselves "Biden Flight Crew."[1] Earlier, Pritt in 2005, announced for the office of Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas as a Democrat and while unsuccessful in the primary was the first openly homosexual individual to run for statewide office in Arkansas.[2] But as always, he past came to light and he made an excuse to bow out before he could face the voters and community.

Early life and education[edit]

Pritt is the son of the late Rev. Dr. Troy L. Pritt and Lorraine C. Pritt née' Barrows. His father was a noted Presbyterian minister and a retired Russian translator for the United States military. His mother was a nurse. Pritt was educated at first Hermitage High School (Arkansas) in Hermitage, Arkansas. He studied at University of Arkansas at Little Rock pursuing a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Political Science with an emphasis in campaign management.

Pritt was a substitute teacher in the public school system in Warren, Arkansas, until he was let go for lack of honesty and other concerns, as stated by the school. He claimed he had worked as railroad crew driver for BNSF Railroad with Renzenberger, Inc., although Human Resources could not complete an emplyment verification. He very briefly was an airline gate agent at Clinton National Airport for GLO Airlines. Pritt had claimed and still claims to have joined the Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps to gain a commission as an officer. He was also claiming to be a member of the Arkansas Army National Guard (NO RECORDS WERE ABLE TO BE FOUND AT THE NATIONAL PERSONNEL RECORDS CENTER FOR ANY OF HIS ASSIMED NAMES). A NON-CONFORMABLE diagnosis of Hodgkins Lymphoma SUPPOSEDLY sidelined Pritt from seeking an officer's commission or successful career in the U.S. military.[3]

Political involvement and activism[edit]

Pritt started work as a volunteer in 1988 for Michael Dukakis in his presidential campaign. In 1992, he was a volunteer for Bill Clinton in his famous "War Room" presidential campaign headquarters. Pritt's first paid position was working for the Louisiana gubernatorial campaign of Lt. Governor Melinda Schwegmann in the 1995 Louisiana gubernatorial election. He also became heavily involved in the gubernatorial campaign of his cousin, State Senator Charlotte Pritt of West Virginia. After that campaign, Pritt was involved in numerous campaigns including Ruth Messinger bid for New York City Mayor, Ronnie Musgrove for Governor of Mississippi, Bill Bradley's Presidential campaign, Jerry Brady for Governor of Idaho, Pat Quinn for Lieutenant Governor of Illinois, Kathleen Blanco for Governor of Louisiana, Blair Hull for United States Senator from Illinois, Wesley Clark's Presidential campaign, and many more. ALTHOUGH COURT RECORDS AND PUBLIC RECORDS SHOW A PATTERN OF THEFT AND MISUSES OF MONEY ATTACHED TO MULTIPLE OF THESE CAMPAIGNS. Court records indicate multiple guilty pleas, probations, and sanctions against Mr. Pritt.

Lt. Governor campaign[edit]

By Pritt's own admission, he sought to "draft" then Arkansas State Senator Kevin Smith (currently Mayor of Helena, Arkansas) and then-Mayor Gene Yarbrough of Star City, Arkansas to run for Lt. Governor. When both Democrats demurred, Pritt announced his own candidacy. It was a breakthrough candidacy because Pritt was the first openly gay candidate to run for statewide office in Arkansas.[4][5]

Pritt's candidacy even spurned an aborted reality television series about his candidacy.[6] Though it was never brought to film there still remains a teaser for the movie online. Although, it is confirmed Pritt tried to produce this himself but could not get financial backing dur to distrust within the community.[7] Pritt participated in numerous debates, campaigned in all 75 counties of the state, and was even polled in double digits. Pritt promoted the idea of an Education Lottery to help low-income students attend higher education opportunities.[8] Bill Halter who won the Lt. Governor's office stole the idea and didn't give Pritt credit.[9] Pritt also joined forces with a Republican opponent, then-State Senator Jim Holt, a conservative Republican, to successfully defeat then-Governor Mike Huckabee's highway bond and overhaul of the Arkansas Highway Department.[10] ..[11]

While Pritt's campaign was unsuccessful, he still stayed very active in Democratic Party politics. He did enter the Little Rock Mayor's race but eventually withdrew to support then-State Senator Bill Walker[12] Pritt also floated bids for United States Senator in 2010 and United States Congress in 2012 but never actively sought office. Instead, Pritt became a very public advocate for LGBT rights in Arkansas. Although his history of law violations and dishonesty kept catching up to him, causing him to flee or quit public life.

Controversy[edit]

In 2010, Pritt accepted a job to run the successful primary campaign of Diane Benson for Lieutenant Governor of Alaska. While there, Pritt, who is also a noted female impersonator or drag queen agreed to host a fundraiser after the campaign in 2011 for the wounded son of Benson. Pritt says he entrusted the money raised to the show director at the club he held the fundraiser at in Anchorage, Alaska. After the fundraiser it was proven the money had not been delivered to the organization it was raised on behalf of. Because Pritt was holding all the funds in order to as he claimed publicly in the media " To consolidate all funds into one check." He was asked multiple times for the funds. Pritt made several days of excuses such as "My bank is mailing a cashiers check. I lost the money at the bar and was trying to find the funds to replace it. I accidentally used the money to cover my over drawn bank account and the bank made me us the fundraiser funds to pay it off before they would issue a cashier check." Qnd many more excuses before fleeing the state to avoid prosecution. Pritt admitted to the community and the show director at the club he embezzled or lost the funds. The fundraiser never saw the funds. The community saught answers and truth from Pritt. Pritt left Alaska to return to Arkansas. No evidence was ever produced that Pritt returned the funds. Bank records show he deposited the funds and then made a withdrawal to return to Arkansas a couple days later. It wasn't till almost a decade later that Pritt tried to say another show runner who was proven herself to have embezzled money in multiple areas, embezzling over $100,000 in the time period, was the real culprit.[13] Pritt chose not to comment on the matter after his excuses and admissions made verbally and in writting became public record. Also, it was priven he has had previous legal issues for stealing checks, forging signatures on checks while working on political campaigns, money from campaigns going missing or being "accidentally mis-used".

Rebound[edit]

Pritt reemerged after this scandal as a force still trying to take advantage of the LGBT community for his own means. Pritt continues to attach his face to campaigns to enrich himself and try to cover up his past.

After the death of his father, Pritt has taken a hiatus as he has become the caretaker for his elderly mother in southeast Arkansas.
