Andrew J. Weinstein

Andrew J. Weinstein is an American lawyer and fundraiser.

Since 1996, he is the founder and Managing Partner at the Weinstein Law Firm. Weinstein was a member of the Florida Panthers Advisory Board, the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice, and the Board of Directors of the Florida Justice Association. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. In 2011, he was listed among the Legal Elite by Florida Trend magazine, and he has been named a Florida Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers magazine. He received a B.A. from the University of Central Florida and a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad College of Law.

Weinstein also was Finance Chair of the Democratic Party of Florida.

In 2013, then-President Obama appointed him to the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities. In 2016 he helped organize and participated in a delegation to Cuba as part of the administration’s efforts to improve U.S.-Cuba relations.

In 2017, President Obama appointed Weinstein to the board of the Holocaust Memorial Museum.[1]

President Biden nominated Weinstein in 2022 to serve as a Representative of the United States of America to the Seventy-seventh Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations; the U.S. Senate referred his nomination to the Committee on Foreign Relations.[2]
