Jeffrey L. Citron
Jeffrey L. Citron is a highly-regarded New York attorney ranked on City & State's "50 Over 50" list.[1] He is Co-Managing Partner of Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP, a commercial law and government relations firm in New York City, and chairs its real estate practice group.[2]
Citron has practiced law for more than twenty-five years, specializing in real estate and commercial law. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He has also served as an elected delegate to the New York State Judicial Conference.[2]
Citron's primary areas of concentration are commercial banking & finance, and real estate law. He has assisted private and public companies secure financing, grants, and other important benefits for major capital projects, including serving as counsel for the trustees of various Industrial Development Agencies. Citron is a recognized authority for his negotiation of Industrial Revenue Bond financing.[2]
He has represented a variety of private businesses as general counsel, offering advice on banking relations, contract law, employment, general administration, real estate leasing and acquisitions, and other common business issues.
Citron earned his B.S.B.A in real estate from the American University in Washington, D.C., in 1972.[3] He graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1975.[3] He has served on numerous private, charitable and nonprofit organizations, including the Young Men's Philanthropic League, United Hebrew Geriatric Center, and Fenway Golf Club, where he served as President.[4]
