Andrew Jonathan Hillman is a Dallas-based American entrepreneur, investor, co-founder, and legal professional with over 30 years of experience across healthcare, biotechnology, and business development.[1]
Hillman co-founded Business Partners in Healthcare (BPIH), exited to Next Health, and invested in Bone Solutions Inc., backing it through FDA clearance before exiting November 2021. He currently serves as Senior Paralegal at a private law firm managing private equity, class actions, mass torts, and M&A portfolios.[2]
In 2026, Hillman launched the Andrew Hillman Grant for Biotech, an annual scholarship supporting undergraduate students in biotechnology.[3]
Early Life
Hillman was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. His grandfather, Henry B. Levine, founded Midway Auto Supply in 1959, instilling an entrepreneurial legacy.[4]

Career
Business Partners in Healthcare / Next Health (2010–2021)
From August 2010 through November 2021, Hillman served as Co-Founder and Investor at BPIH, a North Texas management services organization, before exiting into Next Health.[5]
Bone Solutions Inc. (2016–2021)
Hillman invested in Bone Solutions Inc. (Colleyville, TX), developing resorbable magnesium-based orthopedic implants, backing the company pre-FDA clearance and exiting upon approval November 2021.[6]
Senior Paralegal (2021–present)
Since February 2021, Hillman serves as Senior Paralegal and Investigator at Advocate and Consultancies, managing private equity, class action, mass tort, M&A, and catastrophic injury cases.[7]
Andrew Hillman Grant for Biotech
In May 2026, Hillman launched the Andrew Hillman Grant for Biotech for undergraduate biotechnology students. He authors a biotech blog at andrewhillman.net covering gene editing, CRISPR, and synthetic biology.[8]
