Dr. Andrew Allan Lenton (born ) is an Australian researcher and climate scientist.
Career[edit]
Lenton is a Senior Research Scientist at the Australian CSIRO. Dr Lenton works in the CSIRO's Hobart Climate Science Centre as an ocean carbon cycle modeler.
Lenton's work as a biogeochemical oceanographer has led to reaearch on three main focus areas:[citation needed]
- the role the ocean plays in the global carbon cycle
- ocean acidification and its interactions with other changes (e.g. ocean warming)
- climate intervention.
