Andrey Vladimirovich Rudenko (Russian: Андрей Владимирович Руденко; born January 23, 1981, Donetsk, is a Russian journalist, propagandist, and special correspondent for the Rossiya 24 channel.[1]

Biography[edit]

Rudenko was born in Donetsk, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. Rudenko's early years, and education, are unknown, but from 2014 he has gained prominence as a correspondent working for the state-funded Rossiya 24 channel covering the war in Ukraine, and notably the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Rudenko is based in, and reports mainly from Donetsk, his work consistently follows the Russian-state narrative, and has been repeatedly linked with Kremlin misinformation. [2] [3] [4] Rudenko has further been noted for his aggressive questioning of POWs, in apparent violation of the Geneva Convention. [5] [6] [7]
