Andrii Ostapchuk (Ukrainian: Андрій Володимирович Остапчук; born 20 October 1991; Obertyn, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian entrepreneur, videoblogger, and co-founder of Europe's largest club for young entrepreneurs “Young Business Club”.
Andrii runs a YouTube channel where he interviews famous Ukrainian businessmen, cultural figures, Internet personalities, and politicians once a week.
Early life
Andrii was born in Obertyn, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Ukraine. He spent his childhood in Kolomyia.
Parents
Mother — Lyubov Petrivna Ostapchuk. She worked in the Central post office in the city of Kolomyia for 20 years. At the moment, the mother is retired.
Andrii grew up without a father.
Education
In 2006—2009, he graduated from Kolomyia College of Economics and Law, majoring in ”Finance and Credit”.
In 2009, Andrii studied at Chernivtsi Trade and Economic Institute. He was the only student on the course who received "excellent" in all subjects.
After a year of study, he passed the first session perfectly and decided to leave the Institute to find a job.
Career
Early career
Andrii worked as a salesman of toothpastes in Chernivtsi for six weeks, after which the company offered him to engage in sales of toothpastes in Russia.
In 2010, Andrii moved to Krasnodar. He changed three jobs: Andrii worked as a waiter, a security guard, and a bookmaker. He helped to open the restaurant “Oscar”, which still operates in Krasnodar.
In 2011, he returned to Ukraine. Andrii’s first job was at McDonald's in Kyiv. He earned 2400 Ukrainian hryvnia per month.
In 2013, he worked as a school photographer and as a 3D cameraman for some time.
He changed seventeen professions and in June 2014, Andrii created “C.P.I. Community of Powerful Individuals”, which included more than 1,000 people.[1]
First business
Andrii started his entrepreneurial activity with the launch of the project “C.P.I. Community of Powerful Individuals”, which brought together ambitious students, entrepreneurs, and top managers, whose goal was to help each other.
Also, Ostapchuk organized a tourist club “C.P.I. Travel Family”.
Andrii’s next project was a dancing school, where the winners of the TV-show “Everybody Dance!” taught.[2]
Young Business Club
In 2016, Andrii Ostapchuk founded the “Young Business Club” with Sergey Gaidaichuk and Vyacheslav Lysenko. This is an international club for young entrepreneurs, where more than 500 participants in Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and the United States have a minimum business turnover of $100,000 per year.[3][4][5]
In October 2016, the first meeting of the “Young Business Club” was held in the Premier Palace Hotel in Kyiv, which was attended by 20 entrepreneurs.
November 1, 2016, is the official date of foundation of “Young Business Club”.
In 2017, 570 interviews were conducted, after which 202 participants became members of the club.
In June 2018, “Young Business Club” opened in London. Yevgeny Chichvarkin and Timur Artemyev were speakers at the opening.
In November 2018, there were 404 entrepreneurs in the club, including 347 from Kyiv and 27 from London.
In October 2019, “Young Business Club” opened in New York. The meeting was attended by 150 entrepreneurs, who were addressed by Evgeniy Chernyak and Andriy Fedoriv.
October 29, 2019, the company was valued at $1.5 million, based on the assessment of investors included in the share of the company.
Blog
In September 2014, Andrii Ostapchuk created an account on YouTube.
On his YouTube channel, Andrii interviews famous Ukrainian businessmen, cultural figures, Internet personalities, and politicians.
At the moment, the topic of the channel is 100 richest people of Ukraine, in which he interviewed 17 people from the list of “100 richest people of Ukraine” according to Focus magazine. Among them: Boris Lozhkin, Serhiy Taruta, Viacheslav Klimov, Vasyl Khmelnytsky, Alexander Melamud etc.[6]
Also, Andrii shares business startups, motivational videos, notes about travel, and sports in his blog.
In December 2018, Andrii Ostapchuk's YouTube channel received The Silver Creator Award, gaining more than 100 thousand subscribers.
In October 2019, the channel has 162 thousand subscribers and more than 9.7 million views.
