Andscacs is a chess engine written by Andorran computer scientist and chess player Daniel José Queraltó. Andscacs is inspired by open-source software, including Crafty, Discocheck, Gull, Protector and Stockfish.[1] José Queraltó began development of Andscacs in September 2013 and released the software in February 2014. As of March 2017, Andscacs is ranked 7th on the CCRL rating list with an Elo rating of 3243.[2]
