Andrew Allen "Andy" Cook was an American criminal who was found guilty of the 1995 murders of Michele Cartagena and her boyfriend Grant Hendrickson, two students at Mercer University.[2]
Murders[edit]
At around midnight on January 2, 1995 Cartagena (19) and Hendrickson (22) parked their car at a lovers' lane at Lake Juliette.[2] A 1980 Honda CR-X parked right in front of them and a man shot them with a assault rifle and a handgun. According to some witnesses a C-RX sped off of the lake. The next day some campers discovered the bodies of the couple. Police spent two years investigating.
