Animasia Studio Sdn Bhd (Animasia Studio for short) is an Animation Studio based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The company was established in 2005 and is a MSC Malaysia Status Company and a ISO 9001:2008 certified company specialising in 2D Animation.
Managing director Edmund Chan started the company with fellow Victoria University friend Raye Lee who helps him with the business side and Ah Loong who heads the creative side.[1]
The studio received funding and support for its projects from the Malaysian Government through the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) and National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS).[2]
Animasia Studios is featured on MCM Studios, an indoor theme park inside Capital 21 Mall in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Harry & Bunnie has an entire section of their recently opened Cartoon Planet with Chuck Chicken Power Up coming out in the future.[3] [4]
