CoinGecko is a cryptocurrencies tracker.[1][2][3][4][5][6] CoinGecko was founded by by TM Lee and Bobby Ong in 2014.[7] On May 13, 2019, CoinGecko introduced its "Trust Score" as a means to rank cryptocurrency exchanges. This initiative aimed to combat fake trading volumes and other forms of data manipulation perpetrated by exchanges.[2]
