Kenali Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (Malay: Syarikat Kejuruteraan Kenali Sdn. Bhd. commonly referred as SKKSB) is a construction and property development company based in Kelantan.
History[edit]
SKKSB was initially founded in 1967 by Haji Nik Taib as Kubang Kerian Brick Factory or Syarikat Kilang Bata Kubang Kerian, a brick manufacturer with an average of 200 workers, and went public in 1981 as Kenali Holdings with small scope projects.[2] In 1983, Kenali Holdings shifted its business focus to property development and took on its new name as Kenali Construction.[3] In 1984, Kenali Construction has been incorporated as Syarikat Kejuruteraan Kenali which serves as the main company in present days.
Since 1980s, SKKSB has led a consortium also comprised their first project known as Taman Kenali Kubang Kerian.[4] The business district is also home to major local corporations including Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB), Malaysian Public Works Department and Malaysia Airlines.[5]
Objective[edit]
The main objective of SKKSB is to form good leadership skills in building and property industries with ultimate aim of becoming a public company in future. Besides, contributing actively in country's development in terms of moral and social values which is parallel to government's motive. Thus, participating in economic activities.
