Anitha Sampath is a Newsreader who primarily works in the Tamil television industry. She is known for her portrayal of a Newsreader in Sarkar. Anitha mainly gained fame for her sensational anchoring in the TV news shows like 6 PM news and Vanakkam Tamizha. [2] [3]
Career
Anitha started her career as an anchor with TV news and Vanakkam Tamizha. Later, she also worked with News7 Tamil which is one of the popular news networks in India. She is working with Sun TV and Sun News as an Anchor. She acted as a Newsreader in Sarkar and Darbar, in which she rose to prominence. [4] [5] [6] [7] She is a contestant in Bigg Boss 4.[2]
Controversies
Anitha Sampath had many fights with Suresh Chakravarthy in the show Bigg Boss 4 and later reached a compromise. Anitha Sampath, who talked about her husband, was told by everyone in the house that she was talking for too long. She also reported that she was not getting enough space and time, but when time and space were given, she didn't utilize it, which was quoted by the other contestants and audience. Several people criticized that she is too sensitive, crying over everything and making things big, and also said she creates sympathy to win the show and her role is scripted and cast paid votes, but these claims were proved untrue. Also, she was featured in plenty of memes for her sensitive character.
