Synopsis[edit]

The story begins with a visually impaired woman committing suicide under suspicious circumstances. Her twin sister has a premonition of the incident. Convinced that her sister was murdered, she investigates the death of her sister despite her husband’s disapproval. During the investigation, she comes to know about a mysterious man who was, apparently, her sister’s lover. Strangely, no one had noticed the man despite claiming to have seen him with her sister.

She follows various leads to find the man whom she (rightly) presumes to be her sister’s murderer. However, he remains elusive. Meanwhile, even before she could reach any conclusion in the death of her sister, her husband allegedly commits suicide leaving behind a note of confession of his affair with her deceased sister. She is devastated and begins to lose her sight due to stress and trauma. Fortunately a donor becomes available and she immediately undergoes eye replacement surgery.

The murderer appears in her life as her nurse. He takes advantage of her blindness and vulnerability to gain her trust. With bandage over her eyes, the truth and the killer remain invisible to her. Growing up with low self-esteem, the killer found acceptance amongst the blinds because a blind cannot judge based on the appearance of a person. The killer attempts to blind her by injecting chemicals that damage the optic nerve. When the bandage is removed, she is finally able to see the truth. He makes her an offer to live with him but she would rather die. She manages to fight him and escape. When the police arrive, the killer kills himself.

In the remake versions of the film, we are going to augment the emotional bonding between the two sisters taking a nostalgic dive that will make the story more meaningful. Unlike the original film, the remake versions will take the audience through an emotional journey of a sister who goes through several ordeals in avenging the death of her beloved sister who had allegedly committed suicide. In the remakes, layers of mystery will gradually unfold as we explore the journey of the protagonist investigating the real cause of the death of her sister and the mystery looming around it.”

The entire film will be prominently set-up in a misty, rustic location of a hilly town to give the required calmness, beauty and chill to this suspense thriller drama. The shifting of locations will be minimal, saving the production cost and making execution easy. However, that’s not the major criteria. The story is very gripping and as the drama unfolds it takes the audience to a never expected horrifying and emotional climax.”
