Anthakudi Ilayaraja is a Singer and Lyricist in the Kollywood Industry, specially recognized for singing folk songs in the South. He has been performed at various places, mainly in temple festivals and stage shows. His song in Tamil film Ilami under Srikanth Deva Musical was a massive hit in 2016. He has popularly done more than 2000 stage programs.

He was born in a place named Chinathambi and Veeramal in Karaikudi, Sivagangai, Tamil Nadu. He completed his schooling at St. Joseph Higher Secondary School and then went to Government Higher Secondary School in Karaikudi. He has done graduation in B.A (Economics) from Alagappa College of Arts and Science, Karaikudi.

He has performed stage shows in Chennai, Mumbai, Pondicherry, Andaman, Kuwait, and Muscat. He has achieved a Doctorate in folk music. His song Videos are available on Youtube and have more than 16million views. His songs can be easily be downloaded from the websites.
