Anurag Ankur ( अनुराग अंकुर ) Originally Anurag Pandey is an Indian poet, writer, Author ,Motivational & Spiritual Speaker and social media activist. His poem on the Shraddha murder case, titled- #FansiDoAaftabKo has trended as a hashtag on Twitter.
Early life
Ankur was born on 04 November 2004 in a small village [Ekauna] of [Azamgarh district], Uttar Pradesh. He passed his middle school from [Gyan Sarovar Public School Singhpur], Azamgarh. Later he attended high school in [Sunbeam School Azamgarh] and passed his Intermediate from [Sarvodaya Public School Azamgarh], Uttar Pradesh in 2023.
Career
Ankur wrote his first poem and got it published in a national magazine Janhit India, while he was a class 6 student. Ankur's first poem was a poem of rebellion, which was written on the malpractices of cheating in the board examinations of Uttar Pradesh.
At the age of 16, Ankur read his first Kavi Sammelan and earned ₹ 500. Ankur has also worked as a co-author in 3 books with Right Order Publication. Apart from newspaper columns, he also writes for many magazines and digital platforms.
On the Shraddha murder case, when the whole country was shocked to see thirty-five pieces of Shraddha, Ankur wrote a poem demanding the death penalty in the Shraddha rape case, which went viral on social media and was widely appreciated.
