Anwar Fazal (born February 13, 1972) is a Pakistani televangelist, pastor, and businessman. He is the founder and chairman of the Eternal Life Ministries, the first Christian television channel in Pakistan, Issac TV, and Eternal Life Television Network.[1]
Biography[edit]
Fazal was born on February 13, 1972, in Jahanian, Pakistan. He founded Eternal Life Ministries in 2001 and preached his first sermon in Lahore, Pakistan, in the same year. He was also invited by former American president George W. Bush for prayers in 2004, before his second term election. Later, in 2006, he introduced Issac TV, the first 24/7 Christian television channel in Pakistan, and then established another Christian television network Eternal Life Television Network, which broadcasts and records religious shows in English and airs worldwide, in 2018.[1]
In 2017, Fazal hosted the visit of the American televangelist Marilyn Hickey in Pakistan. As of 2023, Fazal is the chairman of Eternal Life Ministries, Issac TV, and Eternal Life Television Network. In addition, he hosts religious shows airing on Eternal Life Television Network and Issac TV and conducts religious events organized by Eternal Life Ministries.[1]
