Anwar Shereef (born 04 May 1982) is an Indian film actor who acts predominantly in Malayalam films known for Salalah Mobiles, Forensic and Luca.[1]He was also known for Malayalam musical albums in the early days of his career.
Personal Life[edit]
Anwar Shareef was born on 04 May 1982 at Puvathoor, Thrissur, Kerala. He completed his graduation from Calicut University in 2002. He is settled in Ernakulam district, Kerala.
Career[edit]
Anwar started his career with album songs and ad films, he did about 60 ad films and 150 Malayalam-musical albums.[2]
In the year 2014, he acted in the film Salalah Mobiles and it was a notable character named Manaf, Dulquer Salmaan and Nazriya Nazim were in lead roles in the film. The actor also had brief roles in other films in coming years.[3] He had a supporting role in a Malayalam movie 'Ben' that was released in November 2015. Child actor Gaurav Menon won the national award for his role in the film.[4]
Anwar portrayed as an obstinate police man in Luca, a 2019 Malayalam film directed by Arun Bose starring Tovino Thomas and Ahaana Krishna. He came with an another police character in Forensic[5] in the next year.[6][7]
