Apur Sangsar[1] is a Bengali comedy show which is telecasted by Zee Bangla hosted by Saswata Chatterjee[2] after Home Minister Bouma was ended. It was started on 26 January 2017 and last aired on 4 June 2017.[3] After the end of this show, Dadagiri Unlimited Season 7 was started. This show's director was Subhankar Chattopadhyay and director of photography was Premendra Bikash Chaki.
Plot[edit]
Apur Sansar is the story of Apu's Family. Sarbojaya is a widowed mother who has three sons, Apu, Tapu and Dipu. Apurba Sundar, better known as Apu, was a bank employee. Later on, he regained his job. Tapendro Sundar, better known as Tapu is an aspiring poet. His poetry is not appreciated by the readers. Dipendro Sundar, better known as Dipu wants to become a film star. Both Tapu and Dipu are unemployed. Apu's mother chants about Dev the Superstar and prays that her eldest son Apu becomes like that. Apu's father, Harihan scolds her from the photo frame due to her dedication for Dev. Apu is married to Sharmila who also wants to become an actress. Sharmila married to Apu for the reason that Apu stays close to a film studio. Last but not least, the garnishing comes in the form of Dhananjoy, the male help in the house, who is always up to never-ending mischief. The basic premise of this fiction show is that Apu is an unemployed individual. He gives an advertisement in a newspaper asking for a tenant for a room in his house, which is located close to the Tollygunge film studios. Various celebrities come to the show, and it is the interaction with the celebrities which induce humor and fun in the show.

Game system[edit]
In this show, there would be shown the problems of the family. After the entering of the celebrities, there would be shown different fun activities by celebrities and the family like guessing by sketching, moving, etc. Then, there would be a talking section named 'Jabab Chai Jabab Dau'. Here, Apu asked the celebrities different questions about their lifetime. Then, rapid questions would occur. When celebrities couldn't answer, they had to use Gilette Active Guard Lifeline. Its function was that a person from the audience would ask them a question, and he would get the chance to get a selfie with the celebrities and a Gilette gift hamper. But in the grand finale, as the host was himself a guest, Tapu (Anirban Bhattacharya) asked him the questions.
