Career
During 2013, Simpson started her career in the technology field when joining Facebook while working in the global marketing solutions division. It was during this time that Simpson was sponsoring a family in Zimbabwe after visiting, and noticed the fees associated with transferring money internationally, which developed her interest in the cryptocurrency field.[4]

Simpson has been vocal about her investments within Web3 and cryptocurrency assets and companies.[6][2]
During 2021, it was announced that Simpson is on the directory board of sports NFT platform Autograph, and aided in raising $170 million in a Series B funding for the organisation.[7]
