Arjun Kalyan is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Telugu cinema..[1] He is principally noted for his roles in the films Play_Back (2021) and PelliKuthuru Party (2022).[2][3] After studying for an acting diploma at tge New York Film Academy, he started his career in short films and web series. His popular web series are Missamma (2021) and Nari Nari Naduma Murari (2021). He also participated in the TV shows like Bigg_Boss_(Telugu_season_6) (2022)[4] and BB Jodi (2023) [5]
Early and personal life[edit]
Kalyan was born in Kovvur, Andhra Pradesh. His father used to work for LIC and SBI, due to which, his family moved to various places including Bhadrachalam, Sathupalli, Guntur, Ongole, Vizag, Vijayawada and Hyderabad, before settling in Hyderabad. He completed B.Tech, Computers in Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management,Visakhapatnam and also did Masters in Computers Science in University_of_Kentucky, United States. Later he did Film Acting course in New_York_Film_Academy in Harvard_University Campus in Boston, USA. He also have a sister who is settled in USA. He is still working in Software as Scrum Master.
Career[edit]
After graduating from Newyork Film Academy in Film Acting Diploma, he worked in a Indie movie in USA, called Chinna_Cinema. Post that, he moved back to India to pursue films. After some unsuccessful attempts, he tried short films, private songs and web series in Youtube. Some of his popular works are Upma Thinesindi, Parichayam, Chandamama, Missamma and Nenu Naa Girlfriend. Later he worked for Aha_(streaming_service) OTT shorts - Atma Rama Ananda Ramana and Aha Mini series - Nari Nari Naduma Murari. He also did supporting roles in popular films like Premam and Varudu_Kaavalenu. He also worked as one of the leads in Play_Back and PelliKuthuru Party. He was specifically praised by director Sukumar[6] for his role in Play_Back.
Recently he worked for TV shows - BiggBoss Telugu Season 6,[7] and BB Jodi [8]
