Arjun Sharda is an American executive director and public speaker. He is the Executive Director of TLEEM, a nonprofit organization that helps K-12 and college students build social capital and networking skills for their future careers.[1]

Early life and education

Sharda grew up in Austin, Texas, where he still lives. He began coding when he was seven years old, and eventually developed a passion for computer science.[2][3]

TLEEM

In October 2023, Sharda started TLEEM (Script error: The function "langx" does not exist., meaning "education") at the age of twelve as a school club at Running Brushy Middle School in Cedar Park, Texas.[4] The organization later grew into a nonprofit group helping students build social capital, confidence, and business networking skills.[5]

By 2024, TLEEM had more than 1,000 members in eleven countries.[6] It is headquartered in Round Rock, Texas as a 501(c)(3) organization.[7]

In April 2025, TLEEM began a pilot program supported by Walmart titled Allagi Capital. The program gives small microgrants to student projects from underrepresented groups in the Austin, Texas metropolitan area.[6][8]

Awards and recognition

Sharda was honored as a Student Hero by the Texas State Board of Education, which passed a formal resolution to recognize his work with TLEEM.[9][10]

He also received letters of recognition from Texas Governor Greg Abbott and U.S. Senator Ted Cruz.[11][12]
