Arjun Sundaresan, better known as Arjyou, is an Indian YouTuber from Kerala, India.[1] He is known for his reactions to various online topics on his channel Arjyou. As of 01 March 2021, his channel has 3.12 million subscribers.[2]
In May 2020, his TikTok roasting videos made his channel popular in Kerala and he became the quickest Indian YouTuber to hit 1 million subscribers.[3] He achieved 1 million in just 6 days.[3][4]
Personal life
Arjun Sundaresan was born on December 27, 1998, in Alappuzha, Kerala.[1] His father’s name is Sundaresan and mother’s name is Lasitha. He also has a brother named Anuraj.[1][3] He studied from Mother Teresa High School, Muhamma, and SN Trust's Higher Secondary School, Cherthala.[1][3] He has a degree in BA Multimedia from St Joseph College of Communication, Changanassery.[1][3]
Career

He started his YouTube Channel on August 10, 2013.[2] During the COVID-19 Lockdown, he began to do reaction videos. One of his videos named "TikTok Viral Kalyanangal" which is a TikTok reaction video, went viral on YouTube and that is where he got the spark for his success journey.[5] He also made other roasting videos of TikTokers which gave him huge public and media attention. It also caused arguments between TikTokers and Arjyou. He reacted to TikTok videos of Bigg Boss 2 Malayalam contestant Fukru. The Bigg Boss participant also saw Arjyou’s video and reacted to it on his YouTube channel.[6] That video of Fukru became the most disliked YouTube video in Malayalam Language. This all made him one of the popular YouTubers of Kerala.[7] He recently received the golden play button on YouTube for crossing 1 million subscribers on his channel in just 6 days.[3] [4] His natural style of presentation has definitely won the hearts of the audience. He has over 3.12 million subscribers on YouTube (as of March 2021). He has created 40 videos on YouTube till now (as of March 2021).[2] Arjyou has made headlines for his reaction videos. [4][8]
Bigg Boss Entry Rumours
Arjyou was also rumoured to be one of the contestants in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 3.[9] In a video surfaced on his video streaming channel, Arjun revealed that he is not entering the show.[9] "I am not entering Bigg Boss. It is because I have established my name well on an online platform and would more people know me on another platform? Maybe, but I would never fit in that place. I am 100% sure on the same," he said in the video.[9]
