Armend Tafil Kukleci (born 1 October 1975) was a Kosovo Albanian student who was a member of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) during the Kosovo War.
Biography
Kukleci was born in Peja, where he completed his primary and secondary education and studied English Language and Literature at the University of Prishtina, completing two years of study.[1]
In May 1998, Kukleci joined the KLA and became a member of the Black Eagles Special Unit of the Dukagjin Operational Zone.[1] On 14 June, he fought during clashes with Yugoslav forces in Drenoc, near Deçan, where he was killed near the village mosque. During the attempt to reach Kukleci's position after his death, Black Eagles member Blerim Lokaj was also killed in the fighting. His body was buried in Gllogjan in September 1999.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
