Art Rap

Art Rap is a subgenre of hip-hop and rap music. It is usually composed of rap music related to avant garde sound, paintings, or a visual aesthetic. Art rap is not required to be directly related to paintings, but must create a possible visual aesthetic or feel, beyond the literal complexity of the lyrics. Notable artists include A$AP Rocky, Kanye West, Death Grips and Lil B.
