Trap metal (also known as scream rap or death rap)[1] is a fusion genre that combines elements of modern trap and heavy metal,[2] as well as elements of other genres, like industrial[3] and nu metal.[4] It is characterized by its loud and harsh volumes, hard hitting and distorted 808s[5][6] and heavy metal guitars.[7]
