Artem Savinovsky
Artem Savinovsky is a Russian business executive at Yandex. He became general director of Yandex LLC, the group's principal Russian operating subsidiary, in April 2022, and general director of MKPAO Yandex in April 2024.[1][2]
Savinovsky joined Yandex in 2008, initially working on financial reporting, analytics, and planning. He also worked on Yandex's listing on the Nasdaq stock exchange and on strategy for several company services.[3] In 2016, he became head of Yandex's media projects, including Kinopoisk and Yandex Music; in 2018, CNews reported that Yandex was separating its media services into a business unit led by Savinovsky.[4]
In 2023, administrative proceedings were brought against Savinovsky in Russia under rules on the display of LGBTQ-related content to minors, in connection with his role at Kinopoisk.[5][6] A Moscow magistrate's court later fined him 200,000 rubles; Yandex said Kinopoisk would appeal the decision.[7]
