Arthur L Wood

Arthur L Wood is an English poet currently based in Winchester, Hampshire. His work is heavily influenced by the Irish poet William Butler Yeats [1]. The chess Gransmaster, Raymond Keene OBE has written that while poetry such as Wood's can still be written, 'civilisation shall not sink'.


The critic Robert C. Smith has written of the relationship in Wood's work between the poet and the trope of the female muse [3].

Wood has written two books:
