Arun Vijay. is an Indian film composer, record producer, singer, and songwriter who works predominantly in Malayalam and Hindi films. He is also an accomplished pianist & performer. Early life and education

Arunvijay was born in Palakkad, Kerala. He did his schooling in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kanjikode. Trained in Western Classical Music under Rev. Father Thomas Chakkalamattath, Chetana Thrissur and Carnatic Music under Legendary musician Dr. M.Balamuralikrishna, Jayachandran Palluruthi. Holds Grade 8 in piano performance from Trinity College London & Music Composition from Royal College of Music London.

He graduated from CUSAT, Kochi in 2012 with a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.

Musical career

Arun initially composed scores for different documentaries and jingles for advertisements and Indian television channels. He started working in the industry as a music arranger for the Film Orkut Oru Ormakoot in 2009. Arun, has composed music jingles for 500+ ad films for National & International brands. Some of his notable works include brands like Vivo Mobiles, Air India, Tata Tea, Colgate, ITC Limited - Sunfeast, India Post, Bharat Benz etc. Arun's film-scoring career began during the early 2018 with the Multilingual film Praana starring Nithya Menen, directed by V. K. Prakash is the world’s first Sync Surround Sound film with Sound Design by Oscar Award Winner Resul Pookutty . Later that year he was signed for Drishyam fame Jeethu Joseph's Mr & Ms Rowdy starring Kalidas Jayaram & Aparna Balamurali. Attention please movie directed by debutant Jithin Issac Thomas received critics appreciation in the International Film Festival of Kerala, 2021.
