Aryanna Gourdin

Aryanna Gourdin, born in 2004, is a huntress and sharpshooter. She is the co-host of The Outdoorsman's Art Radio Show with Blake Alma.[1] She is most notable for legally shooting a giraffe and zebra and receiving over 75,000 hate messages on social media. She currently resides in Cove, Utah. She has appeared on Good Morning Britain and ABC News.[2][3][4]

2016 Hunting Incident[edit]

The summer of 2016, Aryanna and her father, Eli Gourdin, made an African hunting trip and successfully and legally hunted a giraffe and a zebra. After returning back from her hunting trip, she posted several pictures on Facebook of her prey that she had successfully hunted. In a matter of days, she received 75,000 hate comments on her post. Many of the hateful comments were death threats. The news media promoted this incident quickly and publicly. Eli, her father, said that all the meat was donated to the African tribe. Aryanna vows that she will never stop hunting.[5]
