Blake Alma, born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2000, is the radio personality of The Outdoorsman's Art, which is an international, outdoor-based radio show on WRVO Radio Network 1.[1] Alma is also an American outdoor writer and the founder of The Art of an Outdoorsman, an outdoor media site.[2] Alma has made many appearances on O’Neill Outside Radio.[3][4][5]
Career[edit]
Alma began writing at the age of 7. He published his first book, The Outdoorsmen Bible, at the age of 14. During a summer teen camp, a teen counselor took him fishing for the first time. After his first fishing trip, he became obsessed with the pursuits in the outdoors. He later determined that he would become a professional outdoorsman.[6]
In spring of 2015, Alma founded an outdoor media site, The Art of an Outdoorsman.[7] He began writing outdoor-related articles for magazines, newspapers, and website in early 2016. Some of his most renowned writing work can be found at Survival Life,[8] Outdoor Hub, and Outdoor News. In May 2016, Alma was offered his own international radio show on WRVO Radio Network 1, which airs every Tuesday at 4:30 PM EST. His show is the "real outdoor radio show," as it is actually recorded in the outdoors. He currently has 5 published books.[9][10]
