Asen Albayrak (born 5 May 1997) is a Turkish female football referee and former women's footballer.
Private life[edit]
Asen Albayrak was born to Ercan Albayrak in Alpaslan vilaage of Taşova district in Amasya Province on 5 May 1997.[1][2] She studied Physical Education and Sports at Kastamonu University.[2]
Sports career[edit]
Footballer[edit]
Albayrak obtained her license from Amasya Eğitim Spor in her hometown on 7 September 2012. She played for Amasya Eğitim Spor in the Turkish Women's Second Football League bewtween 2012 and 2016. In the 2016-17 Women's Second League, she transferred to Osmanite Demirspor, palyed however only in the season's first half. She then moved to Drtyol Belediyespor in Hatay to play in the second half of the Women's Third League.[2] She retired from football playing after scoring 84 goals in a total of 88 matches.[1]
Referee[edit]
Albayrak started her referee career as an assistent referee officiating a boy's under-16 league matcj in Kastamonu on 22 September 2018.[2] Already in October 2018, she was promoted to the role of referee officiating a match in the boy's under-17 league. In October 2019, she officiated a for the first time a Turkish Women's First Football League match.[3]
