Ashlesha Thakur (born 19 October 2003) is an Indian actress and model. She is best known for playing the role of Dhriti Tiwari (Manoj Bajpai's daughter) in the We Series, The Family Man.[1]

Early life[edit]

Thakur was born on 19 October 2003 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.Her father name is Amit Thakur and mother name is sunita thakur.[2]

Career[edit]

Thakur started her acting career as an actress in 2017 with TV serial “Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki” on Colors TV and also worked in Bollywood Film “Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai” in the same year.[3] She also played a Cameo role as a young schoolgirl Mehek in “Badrinath Ki Dulhania”.[4]

She has also worked in the Bollywood film, Pagglait and Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai; and Indian TV series, Gutur Gu.[5][6]

She worked in some famous advertisements of brands like Himalaya, Kisaan, Cadbury, and Bajaj electronics.

As Dhriti in The Family Man[edit]

Ashlesha is prominently known for playing the role of Dhriti Tiwari, Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee) and Suchitra Tiwari's (Priyamani) daughter in Amazon Prime video web-series, The Family Man.[7][8][9]

As Alia in Jawan[edit]

In 2023, Ashlesha played the role of Alia Gaikwad, Kaalie Gaikwad's (Vijay Sethupati) daughter in Jawan.[10][11][12]

Personal life[edit]

The Family Man series popularity brought Thakur into the limelight, and she received numerous marriage proposals through her social media accounts.[13][14]
