Asoz Rashid (born 11 August 1982) is a British-Iraqi businessman, and the current CEO of iQ Group.[1][2]

Early life[edit]

Rashid was born on 11 August 1982[2] in Surrey, United Kingdom to Kurdish-Iraqi parents.

Rashid attended the London Guildhall University and attained his bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Relations.

Career[edit]

Following his graduation,[1] he worked for several years as Iraq’s diplomatic delegate to the World Trade Organization (WTO) tasked with Iraq’s accession to the WTO in Geneva.[3][4] In 2012, he helped to establish Crowd2Fund,[5] a British,[6][7][8][9][10][11] fully FCA-regulated Fintech platform.[12][13][14]

Since 2020, Rashid has been the CEO of iQ Group. iQ is an Iraqi technology company[15] that was founded in 2005,[16][17] focusing on the provision of fibre-optic internet[1][18] across Iraq.[19] Since taking on the helm of CEO, his core focus has been to transition the company[20] into an all-encompassing tech company[21][22][23]
