David Maher Roberts is a British businessman. He was formerly the CEO at The Filter, a Bath-based technology company that provides recommendations for digital content providers. David led the company's turnaround from a music playlist app to a SaaS (Software as a Service) provider whose clients include NBC Universal, Nokia and Dailymotion.[1] It now delivers over 1 billion recommendations to over 150 million people in over 35 countries every month.
He was Board & Digital Director at US/UK media company Future PLC, founder of award-winning content agency Future Plus, founding partner of consultancy [2] and sports social network iSporty. David is also co-founder of BathSpark, a localized social network for technology professionals in Bath, a mentor at the enterprise-boosting initiative Seedcamp, and was selected as a judge for the Daily Telegraph[3]'s Start-up 100 awards.
