"Assoluto amore" ("Absolute Love") is a song written by Cristiano Macrì (music) and Graziella Caliandro (lyrics) under the pseudonym Nuvola for the Italian adaptation of anime series Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch named Mermaid Melody – Principesse sirene soundtrack aired in 2007 on Italia 1.

It is the Sara's image song, and the lyrics talks about the love between her and Tarō Mitsuki, who met him in India. In fact, the song is sung by Valeria Caponnetto, the Sara's Italian sung-voice. In the second season (Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch Pure), it becomes the Seira's song, after Sara's death. Seira is the new mermaid princess of Indian Ocean, and therefore replaces Sara. Caponnetto is also the sung-voice of Seira.

The song is produced and arrangiated by Cristiano Macrì and published by Reti Televisive Italiane in Mermaid Melody – Principesse sirene album, which contains the whole soundtrack of the anime.

The song is an up-tempo ballad. It is played by piano and electric guitar.

"Assoluto amore" replaces the Japanese-language song "Return to the Sea" sung by Kana Ueda, the Sara's Japanese voice.
