Atreyu Ray Hasenstab (born August 24, 1999) is an American filmmaker and music video director[1].[2]

Early Life[edit]

Hasenstab was born on August 24, 1999, in Tucson, Arizona. He is the middle of two brothers: Kyle Hasenstab (older),[3] former guitarist of As Blood Runs Black,[4] and Jonathan Hasenstab (younger).[5] He graduated from Empire High School in 2017.[6][7]

Hasenstab studied Film and Television at the University of Arizona. In May 2021, Hasenstab graduated cum laude.[8][9]

Career[edit]

In 2017, Hasenstab began an internship with The University of Arizona's Tech Parks Arizona, where he produced instructional videos for students participating in a solar go-kart competition.[6]

Music Videos[edit]

In 2019, he made his debut in the music video industry with "Worth" by Emic.[10] In the following year, he completed visual effects and CGI on "Too Soon" by Zard.[11] Later that year, he took on the role of producing music videos in Emic's "All Mine"[12] and Kaizer's "Bleed."[13]
