Paris Visone (born April 22, 1986) is an American documentary photographer based in Boston. Her work has been shown internationally in both solo and group exhibitions, and her photographs of musicians have appeared in magazines like Rolling Stone and Spin.[1][2]
Early Life
Visone grew up in Saugus, Massachusetts and Boca Raton, Florida. She graduated from the Art Institute of Boston in 2008, where she studied under Jack Leuders Booth, Jane Tuckerman, and Cig Harvey.[3]
Career
Visone has worked as a concert photographer since 2010, touring with artists such as Blondie, Toto, Godsmack, New Found Glory, Marilyn Manson and Limp Bizkit.[1][2] She has also directed numerous music videos.[3]
Visone received the 2010 Getty Images Editorial Photography Grant for her series "Gender Roles and Appearance."[1][2]
Her book For Real was published in 2018 by Peanut Press. The book contained a foreword by Cig Harvey and featured photographs of notable musicians interspersed with portraits of her own family members.[1][2]
In 2020, Visone and her partner Erik Rogers founded Hellooo Productions, a company that films and produces live musical performances for online streaming.[4][5]
