Aurachain is a low-code platform that enables the visual development of software applications through the use of drag-and-drop tools and configurable components for creating automated process flows, user interfaces, dynamic documents templates, data models and catalogs that automate code generation.

The Aurachain platform is owned by Aurachain AG.[1], a company headquartered in Switzerland and with local offices in Europe (United Kingdom, Romania), the United States (Palo Alto, California) and the Middle East (Dubai).

Aurachain platform is certified as meeting the criteria of the ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management System.[2]

History[edit]

The Aurachain platform was hard-launched in 2019 at its 3.0 version alongside the Aurachain brand[3] and secured $25 million[4] in a series A round of funding.

The platform was used to create a portal that supported Romania's Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme[5][6][7][8] . It was also used by CEC Bank[9], a Romanian state-owned financial institution, to test the use of low-code application development by creating an integrated system for monitoring and maintaining the bank's ATM and POS fleet[10][11], as well as an app that allows SMEs to open and manage current accounts online[12][13]. And was chosen by the Bucharest Stock Exchange to create a portal via which investors can participate and vote online at General Meetings of Shareholders of companies listed on the Romanian Stock Exchange[14]
