Autoship CAD/CAM is a proprietary CAD/CAM software suite initially developed by Autoship Systems Corporation, designed specifically for naval architects and marine engineers. It is used for ship design, hydrostatics, stability analysis, structural modeling, and production drafting of commercial and recreational vessels. AutoShip is used by shipbuilding companies, shipyards, independent naval architects, government agencies, and maritime consultants. Its modules are commonly applied in designing cargo ships, ferries, tugboats, yachts, and workboats. Autoship Systems Corporation sold the software product Autoship CAD/CAM to a Dubai-based company Focus Marine LLC in 2012.[1][2][3]
Modules
- AutoShip – hull modeling
- AutoHydro – hydrostatics and stability
- AutoPlate – plate expansion and layout
- AutoStructure – internal structural design
- LoadMonitor – onboard loading conditions software
- Production Manager – nesting & parts management
